Not sure if I mentioned it on here but I bought myself a giant tv as a Christmas present. It’s in the picture above. It’s a 65 incher. It had been sitting on my floor for weeks. The old piece of furniture that had my tv in it had sides and doors on it so at most you could put a 40 inch tv in it.

I had been planning on putting my new giant tv on the table and moving the heavy old tv furniture next to it in front of the fireplace. I had to wait because Jobu’s food and water dishes were on the tile in front of the fireplace. I had hoped to be waiting for a long time. Sadly that wasn’t the case.

With Jobu’s no longer needed food dishes cleaned and moved, I decided to setup the tv. The old tv stand was way heavier than I thought it would be. I could barely get it to move. That’s when I noticed that it looks like I could take the top section off. I had an idea. I measured the tv stand base. It was almost exactly the width of the feet on the tv.

After about 2 hours of work I had the top off the tv stand. I’ve kept all the parts and I am sure it can go back together. I muscled the tv onto the stand and noticed something unfortunate. The front of the feet on the tv angle outwards. They weren’t on the stand so it wobbled. I was certain that the tv would fall down.

So I moved the stand over and put the tv on the table like I originally planned.
