Music Monday: LP – Girls Go Wild

TWTW July 15th through the 21st: Heatwave?

Like most of the US we had really hot temperature this week. It was called a heatwave but it wasn’t really unseasonably hot. We had low to mid 90sF with high humidity that put the real feel in the 100sF (Not going to do math so no C for you) It’s normal to get a couple of weeks like that during the summer. I know other parts had higher than normal temps but here it was just normal hot. I don’t know if a heat wave just means it’s hot or it’s unusually hot. And I ain’t googling it. The heat finally broke on Sunday when a front went through without much fanfare. You’d think with the big temp drop we would have gotten big storms but it only rained a bit here.

Music Monday: U2 – Electrical Storm

I think I’ve used this for a previous Music Monday but I thought with the heatwave having broken here this song would be fitting because of the lines: It’s hot as hell, honey in this room
Sure hope the weather will break soon

It’s also just a really good song about tension in a relationship.

TWTW July 8th Through the 14th: Bunnies Chase Each Other

I was out for a walk when I came across two bunnies chasing each other. They weren’t afraid of me and just ran about. One would chase the other then they would stop and change who was chasing who. The seemed be having a lot of fun.

Music Monday: Marc Holstege – A Mind Full of Thoughts

TWTW July 1st Through the 8th: Weather And Happy Birthday America

It was a nicesh day, not to hot, kinda humid, sunny. I went for a walk. I stopped into a friends place and I was talking to him. I looked out the window and it was pouring rain sideways. It only lasted about 15 minutes but it sure was crazy.

Music Monday: Lemongrass – For All Seasons

TWTW June 24th through the 30th: I Almost Run Over A Baby (Adolescent) Mouse

As I pulled into my usual parking space for work I noticed this small weird thing on the pavement. It seemed odd since it had dimensionality. It looked like a Little rock but not quite. I thought maybe something had fallen out of my car. After I parked, I walked around the other side to check out this mysterious object. Just in front of my back when sat a tiny mouse. It wasn’t a baby. It had its fur and its eyes were open. It just lay there shivering. I think it was terrified it almost got run over. I checked to make sure I hadn’t actually hit the little guy. He seems unhurt. I thought about moving him since here can’t be much food for a little mouse in the middle of a parking garage. I left him to his own devices.

When I came back out for lunch he was long gone. I hope he found a good home.
